The bridge in Świętoszów (Osiecznica municipality) is closed, but people still have to somehow get home or to work. They can do so via the official, but lengthy detour (from the Luboszów interchange towards Iłowa and Żagań, and then on to Rudawica and Świętoszów; the total distance is approximately 30 km) or via the “unofficial route” through Łozy (“just” 6 km). What do drivers choosing the unofficial route through this village have to contend with? Here is a video by Stefańczyk Studio:
Residents complain that several hundred cars now travel this route every day, including military vehicles and lorries. When the latter drive through here, houses shake to their foundations and walls crack. There are signs imposing speed limits, but drivers pay no attention to them. And it will probably be even worse in the summer. But as Łozy village head Daniel Szczęsny says, asphalt is to be laid here by July or August. We will return to the subject.
