If you are dissatisfied with the condition of roads and pavements, the shortage of parking spaces, the operation of the hospital or the lack of places in preschools, you can report your concerns to city and county councillors. Civic Platform activists will submit an interpellation on your behalf.

The board of Bolesławiec Civic Platform invites residents of our county to the “Local Government Café” meeting, which will take place on 21 October at the Liliput restaurant on Kleeberga Street. In an intimate atmosphere, it will be possible to talk to Civic Platform councillors.

The meeting organizers plan to set up four themed expert tables. All you have to do is sit down at one of them and talk about the problems that affect us in everyday life. Coffee will be served during the conversation.

The aim of the initiative is to enable voters to have a real influence on decisions made by the city and county authorities. At the expert tables, it will be possible to talk about:

  • infrastructure and environmental protection – with Karol Stasik, chair of the County Council, and Mirosław Sakowski, councillor and member of the Infrastructure Committee
  • housing and social issues – with Jadwiga Bobek, County Council councillor, and Cezariusz Rudyk, councillor
  • security and health – with County Governor Cezary Przybylski and councillor Andrzej Czeczutka
  • education, culture and sport – with Dariusz Kwaśniewski, member of the Bolesławiec County Board, and Ewa Ołenicz-Bernacka, City Council councillor.

If the “Local Government Café” format proves successful, the meetings will be held regularly – on the third Tuesday of every month. The first meeting with councillors will take place on 21 October from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the “Liliput” restaurant on Kleeberga Street.
