Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Bolesławiec County have their hands full today. Fallen trees and broken branches are the consequences of the gusty wind blowing through our town. Firefighters are intervening, among other places, on Jeleniogórska Street (near the hospital and near the Leśny Potok center). Two trees also fell in the park by the Athletics Orlik on Komuny Paryskiej Street.

Firefighters are also intervening in the municipalities of Nowogrodziec and Osiecznica, as well as in Warta Bolesławiecka, where the wind damaged part of a roof on a building. The wind also brought down a tree in Trzebień. The local Volunteer Fire Department intervened there.
According to meteorologists’ forecasts, the gusty wind is expected to subside in the evening.
