The ceremony presenting Europass Mobility Certificates to students of the Forestry Technical School and the Construction Technical School who completed a month-long vocational internship in Leipzig, Germany, in 2016, took place on Thursday, 9 February, in the auditorium of the Construction School Complex. As we read on the school’s Facebook profile:

The crowning achievement of your internships abroad are these Europass certificates, ceremonially presented today by the school principal and guests invited to the ceremony. This important document confirms the professional skills you acquired in Germany and may also be a passport to your dream job in the future. Congratulations.

At the turn of May and June, a group of 30 students from the Forestry Technical School completed an internship in Leipzig, improving their professional skills and qualifications as part of the project “Organisation of forests of different ownership types using Germany as an example”. The organisation and implementation of this internship received a very high rating from the National Agency of the Erasmus+ Programme and representatives of the Ministry of Development from Warsaw who visited during its course.

Meanwhile, the second group of 30 students from the Construction Technical School travelled to Germany at the turn of September and October 2016 for a month-long vocational internship devoted to the topic “Passive houses – the future of the construction industry”. In the near future, more and more houses using modern energy-efficient technologies will be built in our region and country. The school is already training specialists in this field.
