Officers from the Criminal Division of the Police Station in Chojnów detained a 22-year-old man, a resident of Chojnów Commune. At his home, officers found more than 1,500 portions of drugs. More than 700 portions of marijuana, 800 portions of methamphetamine, 8 ecstasy tablets and 2 kilograms of illegal tobacco were found in cupboards and a refrigerator.
The officers also detained three men aged 21–29 who were in the 22-year-old’s apartment. The youngest of them had marijuana in his possession.
All four were taken into police custody. The 22-year-old, suspected of drug trafficking, was placed in temporary custody for three months. He faces up to 10 years in prison. The 21-year-old will be held responsible for drug possession, for which he could be sentenced to three years behind bars.
