The last few days of freezing rain have caused dangerously slippery ice to build up on the pavements. Recently, we intervened following a Reader’s report regarding the icy pavement on Asnyka Street. Homeowners and businesses are required to clear the pavement in front of their property, or face a fine.

The residents of Mostowa Street have fulfilled their duty wonderfully, as is obvious at a glance. Those responsible for Bader and the Bolesławiec County authorities should be ashamed. The pavement on the company’s side and on the bridge is scandalously neglected: the ice is several centimetres thick, and during thaws puddles and icy slush form.

Bader’s owners, take care of your employees so that they can reach their workplace with dry feet. County Head, Deputy County Head and members of the Board, take care of those whom you promised to look after during the election campaign! All of you should follow the example of the property owners on the other side of the street.
