Among the investments planned in the Bolesławiec City budget is Centrum Wiedzy—a project involving the conversion of a commercial and service building, namely the former Mieszko Department Store, into the headquarters of the Municipal Public Library.
As we read on the Bolesławiec City Hall website:
The library as a “third place” symbolizes a public space understood as a place for social gatherings, communication, spending free time, learning, relaxation and cultural activities.
The investment is worth PLN 3.3 million. The project’s implementation depends on obtaining funding for this purpose from support funds (PLN 2 808 000). The City’s own contribution is PLN 496 000.
