The accident occurred on Friday, December 23, in Brzeźnik (Bolesławiec municipality). After 8:00 a.m., the driver of a Renault, who was driving too fast, lost control of the vehicle and hit an 18-year-old woman from Bolesławiec municipality who was walking on the wrong side of the road.
The injured woman, suffering from craniofacial and spinal injuries, was first taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec. However, her condition is so serious that she is to be transported to Wrocław.
The 21-year-old Renault driver was sober.
