A reader sent us a photo of renovation work with the question: what is happening beneath the high-rise building of the City Hall? We have established that the retaining walls are currently being renovated there (demolition of the existing sandstone structures and construction of a reinforced-concrete corner wall, as well as construction of three reinforced-concrete retaining walls and one concrete wall). The aforementioned walls will be clad in granite slabs (thickness: 2 cm; dimensions: 30 x 60 cm).
The cost of the investment, whose contractor is a company from Mirsk, is PLN 121,320. The funds come from the budget of the City of Bolesławiec.
