In October, the Municipal Communal Services Company in Bolesławiec began work related to modernizing the fence around the market on Jeleniogórska Street. As part of the project, the old, damaged steel fence and its concrete foundation were dismantled; the area along the fence line was also prepared and levelled. The new fence was made of galvanized panels measuring 156 cm x 180 cm, mounted on galvanized posts together with a prefabricated concrete foundation.
The new fence is 333 m long and includes a sliding gate and two entrance gates. The cost of installing the fence amounted to PLN 94,783. As part of this project, the slope will also be levelled, and the access route to the market from the traffic lights on Jeleniogórska Street will be modernized and adapted for people with disabilities. The anticipated total cost of the project will amount to approximately PLN 120,000, with the entire amount coming from the city budget. The investment is being carried out by the Municipal Communal Services Company with the participation of the subcontractor “M & M” SC.
