On Wednesday, November 16, at the exit from the so-called Manhattan marketplace, the driver of a Mercedes passenger car hit two women, aged 33 and 39, at a pedestrian crossing. The car was traveling from Podgórna Street toward Garncarska Street. As a result of the accident, the 39-year-old woman was seriously injured. A helicopter from the Polish Medical Air Rescue Service flew in for her. The LPR helicopter landed at the stadium on Rajska Street, from where it took the injured woman and transported her to a hospital in Legnica. The less seriously injured 33-year-old woman was taken to a hospital in Bolesławiec.
We learned that the person responsible for the incident is a taxi driver from Bolesławiec. The 56-year-old is a resident of Bolesławiec Municipality. He was sober at the time of the incident.
