Let us recall: on Tuesday, October 25, on provincial road 352 (from Bogatynia to Zgorzelec), a speeding passenger car collided head-on with a truck. The tragedy occurred in Działoszyn (Bogatynia commune). For unknown reasons, the driver of the passenger car crossed into the opposite lane, directly into the path of the truck.
The 44-year-old driver of the passenger car and his three children, aged 6, 11 and 13, died at the scene. The truck driver did not suffer any serious injuries.
That same day, the body of the passenger car driver's wife was also found in an apartment in Zgorzelec. Police officers found her body when they came to inform her about the tragedy in which her husband and children had died. The apartment door was locked. A decision was made to force it open.
Investigators are determining the causes of the family tragedy. Various versions are being considered: from an unfortunate accident and suicide to so-called extended suicide.
On Wednesday, October 26, the RMF FM portal reported that the woman had died as a result of four blows to the head inflicted with a blunt instrument. It is not yet known who murdered the 44-year-old woman. It was established, however, that at the time of the accident the passenger car may have been traveling at 150 km/h. The driver did not brake, and the children were not wearing seat belts.
