The incident took place on Saturday, 5 November, at around 1:00 p.m., near the railway embankment in Jelenia Góra. A mushroom picker noticed a hanged dog on a branch of one of the trees. A patrol of the Municipal Police was called to the scene. The officers cut the leash from which the animal’s body was hanging. Its condition indicated that the act of brutality had been committed several hours before the four-legged animal was found. Unfortunately, the female dog was not microchipped.
