COALITION AGREEMENT

concluded between:

  1. Platforma Samorządowa Powiatu Bolesławieckiego;
  2. the Forum Samorządowe Councillors’ Club;
  3. the Independent Councillors’ Club;
  4. the Democratic Left Alliance;

hereinafter referred to as the Coalition Partners.

  1. Guided by the interests of the residents of Bolesławiec County and a sense of responsibility towards the local-government community, the Coalition Partners resolve to form a coalition in the Bolesławiec County Council during its fifth term.
  2. In developing and implementing a common programme and establishing the operating principles of the coalition, it was decided to continue the Coalition Partners’ effective efforts in three priority areas: roads, education and healthcare. It was also agreed that work to promote the region’s economic development and tourism assets would be intensified, as would cooperation with the municipalities of the county based on partnership and mutual respect.
  3. It was agreed that further improvement in the quality of the county office’s and county organisational units’ operations was necessary, including information policy and the promotion of the county. It was emphasised that the primary principle governing work in the county office and its organisational units is that officials serve the county’s residents.
  4. The Coalition Partners declare that they are open to cooperation with councillors from other groups represented on the county council whose programmes are close to theirs.
  5. Pursuant to this coalition agreement, it is established that the county authorities will be constituted in accordance with the following principles:

A) The Bolesławiec County Head will be nominated by Platforma Samorządowa Powiatu Bolesławieckiego;

The Deputy County Head will be nominated by the Forum Samorządowe Councillors’ Club;

The incumbent Member of the County Board will be nominated by the Democratic Left Alliance;

A Member of the County Board will be nominated by Platforma Samorządowa Powiatu Bolesławieckiego;

A Member of the County Board will be nominated by the Independent Councillors’ Club;

B) The Chair of the County Council will be nominated by the Independent Councillors’ Club;

The First Deputy Chair of the County Council will be nominated by the Forum Samorządowe Councillors’ Club;

The Second Deputy Chair of the County Council will be nominated by the Independent Councillors’ Club.
