On Tuesday (6 November), information was provided at a conference held at the Bolesławiec County Office about a new, unusual coalition in Bolesławiec County. It will consist of Platform, PiS, Impuls and one councillor who was elected from the PSL list.

The poll we published in the report about the coalition shows that people do not like the new coalition. More than 72% believe that this new arrangement will not be good for Bolesławiec County. 22% think that the new coalition is acceptable.

I know that […] such a coalition may come as a surprise. […] Our previous coalition partners, who after these elections became the core of the KW Bezpartyjnych Samorządowców, did not express a desire to continue the coalition, even in a configuration that assumed their leading role. When I tried to speak with my current deputy […] I heard that he was not our partner for talks, but rather the city president, Piotr Roman. […] My attempts to make contact were brushed aside by the president and explained in general terms. My outstretched hand was left hanging in the air. […] To my surprise, the hand I extended in reconciliation was taken by others: councillors elected from the PiS and KWW Macieja Małkowskiego lists, as well as an independent councillor. […] We promised one another that people from outside the County would not control us. […] I know that not all of you will share my opinion. I also know that many of you—voters of the Platforma Samorządowa Powiatu Bolesławieckiego—will turn away from me and the people who form it. I understand that.
