On November 14, Dariusz Kwaśniewski will resign from the position of county head. This will happen during a specially convened session. The county authorities will be elected. Bolesławiec County will be governed by a new coalition. It will comprise Platforma, the Democratic Left Alliance, Forum Samorządowe (Piotr Roman's supporters), and independent councillors.
The candidate for the new county head will be nominated by Platforma. The deputy county head of Bolesławiec will be appointed by Forum Samorządowe. The incumbent member of the county executive board will be appointed by the Democratic Left Alliance. The two remaining members of the county executive board will be appointed by Platforma and the independent councillors.
The Chairperson of the County Council will be appointed by the independent councillors. The first deputy chairperson of the council will be appointed by Forum Samorządowe. The second deputy chairperson will be elected by the independent councillors.
