The incident occurred on September 4 at around 9:00 a.m. The loader operator was carrying out scheduled work in the area near the Municipal Cemetery. At one point, one of the wheels went into a hole. “The loader lost stability and overturned,” says Adam Anuszkiewicz, technical director of the Municipal Utilities Management Company. The operator probably tried to leave the loader’s cabin. He did not manage to do so. The vehicle crushed him.
The injured man was taken to a hospital in Bolesławiec. He is conscious. He suffered injuries to his chest and left arm. His life is not in danger. As the technical director assures, the incident will be classified as a workplace accident. “We will certainly clarify everything down to the smallest detail,” Adam Anuszkiewicz notes.
