A vocational competition in the specialties of baker and confectioner was held in Jelenia Góra for young people from the region, in accordance with the schedule of celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Chamber of Crafts in Wrocław and half a century of crafts in Lower Silesia. Bolesławiec was represented by vocational-school students: Dawid Jeńczak, Tomasz Kamiński and Sebastian Żuk (baking), as well as Anna Boryniec, Grzegorz Zając and Gabriela Makówka (confectionery).
In the competition for first place, the best results were achieved by: Tomasz KAMIŃSKI – a student at the bakery of master Zbigniew KOROZOWSKI, and Anna BORYNIEC – a student at the confectionery shop of master Mirosław KRUK. They will also compete in the subsequent interprovincial qualifying rounds. It should be added that the winners of the vocational competition’s theory section were prepared by teacher Krzysztof HAJDUK, MSc Eng., from the Complex of Commercial and Service Schools in Bolesławiec.
