Police apprehended a 49-year-old German man who took advantage of confusion at the reception desk of a hotel in Bolesławiec and took two keys. Using one of them, he entered his fellow countryman’s room, where he stole a palmtop, a wallet containing money and credit cards, and a mobile phone, with a total value of nearly PLN 5,000. Police recovered the stolen property.
The 49-year-old now faces up to 10 years in prison.
