Unknown perpetrators broke into the basement of a residential building on 1-go Maja Street. They took a gas cylinder, light bulbs and other items worth approximately PLN 500.
On Kosiby Street, during the residents’ absence, an unknown perpetrator broke into an apartment. They took a television set, a VCR and leather clothing.
In the locality of Nowa Wieś Kraśnicka, at approximately 20:00, an unknown perpetrator attempted to rape a woman returning home. As a result of actions taken by the Police, the probable perpetrator of the attempted rape was detained for questioning.
-On the Bolesławiec–Krepnica route, the driver of an Audi 80 failed to exercise due caution and was travelling at excessive speed, as a result of which they lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle entered a ditch and then overturned over a distance of approximately 60 m. The driver, in serious condition, was taken to hospital.
Unknown perpetrators stole a Ford Probe from a parking lot on Zgorzelecka Street. The vehicle was worth approximately PLN 30,000.
After first holding a knife to their victim’s throat and beating them, four perpetrators took money, cigarettes and a lighter. District officers apprehended the robbery suspects in an immediate pursuit.
-From a shop in the locality of Brzeźnik, food and industrial goods worth PLN 3,119 were stolen after the padlocks had been torn off and the lock forced.
In Brzeźnik, at approximately 24:00, a Fiat 126p passenger car was stolen. The owner estimated the loss at PLN 1,990.
Two perpetrators were apprehended after pushing over a noticeboard and breaking its glass on Asnyka Street.
-Before Bolesławiec, on road no. 4, the driver of a Mercedes suddenly moved into the opposite lane, causing a collision with a truck. The driver and passengers of the Mercedes were taken to hospital in serious condition.
