The Bolesławiec Forest District hosted, on 23 May this year, a group of teachers from Bolesławiec primary and secondary schools—enthusiasts of ecology, or, more precisely, environmental education.
The teachers familiarized themselves with the methods we use to reclaim burned areas and sites previously used by industry, as well as with other local issues related to ecology.
The teachers’ trip was primarily intended to develop educational excursion routes related to environmental education. This became possible thanks to the initiative and special commitment to ecological matters shown by the forest district manager of the Bolesławiec Forest District, mgr inż. Jerzy Wisławski, to whom, on behalf of the teachers and myself, I extend my heartfelt thanks.
