As early as 4 August, a series of important cultural events was inaugurated in Bolesławiec, about which we will write in greater detail in a month. Above all, the 31st National Ceramics and Sculpture Open-Air Workshop began, with the participation of numerous artists from Poland and even a sculptor from faraway Canada. The 2nd Bolesławiec Ceramics and Glass Fair was opened; we write about it separately in an interview with exhibitor and producer of fine ceramics Mr Janusz Jakubowski. In the BOK exhibition hall, visual artist Jolanta Kasińska is presenting her ceramic works, and we warmly invite art lovers to this exhibition.
The artist was born in Lithuania. She studied at PWSSP in Poznań. She worked in applied and educational graphics.
Solo exhibitions: Warsaw, Wrocław, Świdnica, Gdynia, Weisbaden, Frankfurt am Main, Offenbach /Germany/, Opole and Kłodzko. She participated in exhibitions in Wałbrzych-Książ, Kraków, Katowice, Gorzów, Wrocław, Poznań, Słupsk, Oleśnica, Jelenia Góra and Bolesławiec.

In 1989, she received first prize at the Applied Arts Biennale and an award from the Department of Culture and Art in Katowice, as well as an award from the Minister of Education for her teaching and educational work. Her works are held in the collections of the Museum of Ceramics in Bolesławiec and in private collections at home and abroad. This original exhibition is truly a must-see.
