In “COUNCILLORS’ FORUM,” we write about the initial plans for allocating the city’s additional revenue generated in the first half of the year. It is difficult to predict the City Council’s final decisions, because the schools have also joined the queue for funding: School No. 6 is being saved by an emergency PLN 5,000 for repairs, School No. 3 is being flooded (literally!), and even more money is needed to dry out the building; the gas connection at School No. 9 will cost PLN 3,000, not to mention the other educational institutions. And there is still the need to repair the sewer connections in the apartment block at Asnyka Street (PLN 15,000), purchase two VCRs for Samorządowa TLB (PLN 9,000), etc.
A true Gordian knot.
