We have a beautiful corner of our town situated around a pond. Greenery, benches... Once, fish swam in the pond. The children fed them breadcrumbs. In gratitude, the fish wagged their tails and winked at the children. Today, the fish have returned to the pond again—small for now, but next year they will be large again and it will be cheerful. But bad people—and children under their supervision—are leaving tiny fish on fishing hooks... Fish the size of a finger! And nobody will say anything to them.
People, have mercy! Leave the fish alone. They must not be caught! Let them remain a highly interesting feature of this beautiful corner of our town.
