MUSEUM OF CERAMICS ANNOUNCEMENT
On 28 September this year, the exhibits of the Museum of Ceramics will return from a months-long exhibition in Siegburg. The exhibition at the Torhaus-Museum mainly featured contemporary works by Bolesławiec designers of functional ceramics, as well as ceramic sculptures created after open-air workshops.
On 18 September, the Museum of Ceramics joined the celebrations of European Heritage Days by making its exhibition rooms available free of charge. Some residents took advantage of our offer, going for a family walk and visiting the Museum along the way.
On 16 September this year, our museum was visited by a delegation from the museum in Merkersdorf, and the subsequent meeting concerned the exchange of museum exhibitions and cooperation between the two museum institutions. The director from Merkersdorf donated excellent copies of medallions to the collection of the future museum on Kutuzowa Street, including one bearing Kutuzow’s likeness.
