Do you know what “CIAPADA” is? I think many residents of our town do not, which is a pity!
As part of the Bolesławiec Days, an exhibition of drawings, paintings and graphic art by STANISŁAW GRACZYK was held at the “Pegaz” club at BOK. The author, a mathematician by profession and a teacher at the mjr H. Sucharski Vocational School Complex in Bolesławiec, presented very interesting works. This was not his first exhibition in our town, as a retrospective exhibition of satirical drawings was held at the turn of March and April this year, to which the author gave the misleading title “for everyone who thinks”.
He also exhibited his satirical works in Poland and abroad, receiving many awards and distinctions. His poetic works were published in the Literary Almanac of the Jelenia Góra Voivodeship. One cannot pass by his works indifferently, because they concern our everyday lives as seen through the eyes of a satirist. His precise mathematical mind does not prevent him from viewing the world poetically. His numerous poems, aphorisms and epigrams demonstrate his sensitivity and response to the problems of contemporary people.
We hope that these were not the last presentations of Staszek’s interesting artistic output in our town. We wish him many successes, a sharp pen and, despite everything, an optimistic view of the future.
