The BKS Bolesławiec senior team is doing significantly worse than at the beginning of the spring round. In their subsequent matches, they earned only 3 points and occupy sixth place in the interregional league standings.
As usual, BKS footballers will play in the final of the provincial-level Polish Cup. In the semifinal, they defeated OLIMPIA Kowary 1:0 after a difficult and fiercely contested match. J. Rutkowski scored the “golden” goal from a free kick in the 88th minute. BKS’s opponent in the final will be POGOŃ Świerzawa.
BKS volleyball players took part in qualifying tournaments for the third division in Gozdnica and Wałbrzych. Their opponents were teams from Chełmiec, Góra and Gozdnica. Despite their determined performance, the Bolesławiec team finished only third. The teams from Wałbrzych and Gozdnica secured promotion.
Wojciech Mocek, the goalkeeper of the BKS junior team, improved his record for playing in goal without conceding a goal to 535 minutes, or approximately six matches. In the last match, won by BKS against Lubań 14:0, Wojtek played as a forward and scored two goals. Well done!

The farewell match for Stanisław Zapiór, captain of the BKS Bolesławiec team, who is ending his long career as a player, did not take place on June 25 as previously planned, but will be held on July 23 this year. The postponement was caused by a change in the schedule of cup matches. We cordially invite you to the BKS – ŚLĄSK match on July 23, when this distinguished player will be bid farewell.
