The day when children go wild, gorge themselves on sweets and turn somersaults is already behind us adults. Children are still going wild, but that is probably due to the approaching summer holidays.
Children from the Bolesławiec Municipality spent 1 June engaging in sports and recreational activities. The annual organizer of this day is the Primary School in Dąbrowa, while the Gminny Ośrodek Kultury i Sportu joined in organizing the competitions.
We prepared many recreational and athletic events for the children. The students from Dąbrowa put on a funny fashion show for the audience, for which they naturally received prizes. During a break between the events, the hosts of the event (SP Dąbrowa) prepared sweet refreshments for the children. Cross-country races and matches between Classes V–VI for the Primary School Director’s Cup from Dąbrowa took place during the competitions. The students of SP in Brzeźnik took the cup back to their school.
The children were happy, smiling and having fun, which in itself is probably an assessment of the event.
