Before the second edition of the Parade of Love for Clay begins, the Bolesławiec Glinoludy will appear at Przystanek Woodstock, which will take place in Kostrzyn nad Odrą at the beginning of August. “We were at Woostock last year. It would be a shame not to go again,” emphasizes Bogusław Nowak of the Via Sudetica Association, one of the initiators of Gliniada. – “Especially since we received a personal invitation from Jurek Owsiak and organizer Zdzisław Garczarek. Such an invitation cannot be refused.”

“We plan to leave early on Saturday morning,” says Bogusław Nowak. On site, the Glinoludy will set up camp near the Academy of Fine Arts. Starting at 2:00 p.m., they will cover themselves thoroughly with clay, and the Woodstock Gliniada will begin at 5:00 p.m. Jurek Owsiak assured them that he would invite the Glinoludy onto the stage so that they could talk about the idea behind the Parade of Love for Clay and the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival. “This will be excellent promotion for our city,” says a member of Via Sudetica.

Several dozen people have already declared their participation, but there will still be places for volunteers! According to Bogusław Nowak, it is worth going to Przystanek Woodstock if only because of the incredible atmosphere at the festival. “It is a wonderfully organized event,” Nowak says. “I hope that something similar will one day be created in Bolesławiec,” he adds.
