BKS have already played 4 league matches in the return round of the interwar league, winning 3 and drawing one, with a goal difference of 9:2. A very good start;
Mariusz Rutkowski is honourably replacing A. Polaczek, the BKS football team's top scorer in the autumn, and scored 4 goals in three matches with beautiful long-range shots;
BKS player Bogdan Szczęsny transferred to Śląsk Wrocław and made his debut on 2 April in the II league, in a match won against Elana Toruń;
Zbigniew Mandziejewicz, a BKS youth product and now a first-team player for Legia Warszawa, plays in the I league and scored 2 goals in recent matches, standing out as a player;
BKS juniors and youth players have begun their season, and all won their matches: older juniors against Węgliniec 1:0, goal by M. Grzegorzewski; younger juniors against Węgliniec 14:0, goals by S. Berendt 6, M. Zaraziński 3, Andrzejczak 2, Gala 2, Adamczyk 1; older youth players against Gryfów 3:1; younger youth players against Gryfów 3:0, with three goals scored by Graczyk;
Captain Pfeifer, a resident of Bolesławiec, became the Polish indoor tennis champion in the under-16 age category;
Giza Kamil became Bolesławiec's table tennis champion in the senior category. It is worth adding that Kamil is a player for AZS Politechnika Wrocław and plays in the II league, while currently competing with the team in the playoffs for promotion to the I league;
Stanisław Giza, a retired teacher, distinguished activist and football referee, has officiated as many as 846 football matches. He is also the author and publisher of the sixth issue of “Informator Sędziowski”, published for all football referees in the Jelenia Góra district;
Since Mr Stanisław is still an active referee, I wish him perseverance in his pursuit of his thousandth match. The next instalment of BKS history will appear in the June issue of “Głos”; we apologise to those interested for the one-month delay.
