The older and younger juniors playing in the Jelenia Góra group during the autumn round of the 1993/94 season performed very well and are favorites to achieve final success. The older juniors, coached by M. Szepiel, are second in the table, one point behind leaders Włókniarz Leśna, with a goal difference of 30:13, while the younger juniors (coach Zb. Błaszczak) lead the table by one point over Granica Bogatynia, with a goal difference of 75:6.

Six players from this age group, representing Bolesławiec teams, played for the Jelenia Góra squad in macroregional competitions featuring representatives of six voivodeships. In the final of the tournament, the Jelenia Góra team lost to Wrocław. The squad representatives were: B. Kubica (1 goal in the tournament), D. Giza, P. Woźniak, S. Tylutki, Ł. Popek and D. Paprot.
The youngest BKS prospects, the youth players, are also competing in the voivodeship championships. The team led by coach St. Zapiór finished fifth with 5 points (younger youth players), while the older youth team (coach D. Hałka) finished third with 8 points. Today I am devoting somewhat more space to the young footballers because I believe that their play and commitment deserve it. At the same time, on behalf of BKS and the team coaches, I would like to appeal to supporters of this sport for any help in continuing the young footballers’ careers. This concerns such basic necessities as football boots, kits and balls. I believe the boys will repay this support with good play and by bringing fame to the city beyond its borders.
