On 26 December this year, a traditional Christmas wafer gathering was held at 6:00 p.m. in the common room of the District PPS Committee. The gathering was honored by the presence of the Representative of the Government of the Republic of Poland for District No. 36, mgr Bieniaszek, and his wife; Deputy Representative of the Government of the Republic of Poland, citizen Krysa; Rev. Motyka; PPR secretary Comrade Basia; Comrade Engineer Markowski; and 57 PPS members. The traditional gathering was opened by PPS chairman Comrade Krawczyk. In response to the PPS chairman Comrade Krawczyk’s appeal, 1,200 zlotys were collected for Social Welfare. The gathering ended at 10:00 p.m. in a pleasant atmosphere. Rev. Motyka donated 100 zlotys to Social Welfare.
Deputy Representative for District No. 36, citizen Krysa, voluntarily pledged 5% of his monthly salary to Social Welfare. Previous collections for Social Welfare had raised 3,388 zlotys.
