Expanding somewhat on the information published in the November issue concerning the planned commencement this year of construction of a water supply system for the village of Dobra, we report that on 28 October an open tender was held to select a contractor for the village water supply system. The tender was conducted in two stages.
The Tender Committee took into account such factors when reviewing the bids as the offer of competitive prices, the degree of organisation of the company, its financial standing, and its previous experience in carrying out water-supply works.
Of the 12 specialist companies from the Legnica, Wrocław, Zielona Góra and Poznań voivodeships that participated in the tender, the Committee selected Hydrobudowa "Sudety" S.A. from Wrocław, which proposed the most favourable terms for carrying out the subject of the tender (remuneration including VAT – PLN 1.8 billion, completion date by 30 April 1994, warranty period of 3 years). The scope of the investment, as set out in the contract, includes the construction of approximately 5 km of trunk and distribution water-supply network. The contract does not include the construction of water connections, the cost of which will be financed by future water consumers.
We once again signal the possibility of purchasing, through price negotiations, former Soviet properties in Trzebień:
- the so-called "Worobjow Complex", covering more than 5 ha, together with a plot developed with a railway siding – the land is intended for production and service purposes, without the possibility of unjustified subdivision into smaller plots,
- detached residential building No. 70 (the so-called "red" building).
We also offer the possibility of leasing the following properties:
- a 43 m² grocery and industrial-goods shop in the village of Stare Jaroszowice,
- a 38 m² premises intended for development as a service business in the village of Nowe Jaroszowice.
