On September 11, Bolesławiec hosted the Zonal Junior Under-17 Badminton Tournament, whose aim was to select female and male competitors for the National Tournament (September 24–26) in Głubczyce.
Young people from Jelenia Góra, Żagań, Gozdnica, Chojnik and Bolesławiec took part in the competition, which was organized by TKKF "Nowe Śródmieście" in Bolesławiec.
The girls from Bolesławiec who will go to Głubczyce are: Jolanta Walczak from Primary School No. 4, Dorota Dziuba from Primary School No. 5 and Jolanta Wieczorek from Primary School No. 4. They won the tournament in that order.
