Bronisława Ziobro – educator and dance instructor. Born on 4 August 1955, she died on 18 October 1992. Remembered as a kind, hard-working person, "full of life".
That is exactly right. A year has passed since we said goodbye to Bronia. It is hard to believe that we will never again see her mischievous smile, especially when something had been successfully organised, accomplished or overcome.
Everything she did was reliable, well thought out and buttoned up to the "last button". Without unnecessary publicity, but acknowledged with a modest smile.
"A highlander" – that is what she called herself when she wanted to emphasise her determination and perseverance. As the wife of a respected—and, perhaps for that reason, often absent—soldier serving in the UN forces, and as the mother of two charming, well-mannered daughters, she constantly had her "hands full". Yet she never shied away from taking on additional activities with young people. She often even inspired them. She was always active and involved in matters concerning culture and dance, and the upbringing of children and young people.
Bronia was both great and modest. That is how her friends and acquaintances will remember her.
