"... There is one art which, like the sun in the sky, Shines through the ages:
To have the power to comfort – the power to grieve oneself, And to be human!..."
C.K.Norwid
We wish to dedicate these sublime words to the late mgr Marianna Stolarczyk, who, despite everything, remains in our memory and who rendered particularly distinguished service at Zespół Szkół Handlowych i Usługowych.
At the beginning of her work at the school, she was a scout instructor and commander of the troop at Liceum Ogólnokształcące in Bolesławiec.
She worked in education for 19 years as a master of Russian philology. Most recently, she began studying at the Department of Polish Philology.
She would now have been a second-year student.
As a teacher at ZSHiU, she was the school student council’s adviser for many years, and her diligence, conscientiousness and ability to gather young people around her proved that she deserved to be called an exemplary teacher. This was appreciated not only by the students, but also by the school principal, who rewarded her work several times.
Mrs Marianna’s final farewell took place on 13 September 1993, and it was attended not only by her family, but also by a wide circle of the school’s teachers and students.
She Will Remain in Our Memory
