- During an improper overtaking maneuver, a Fiat 125 P collided with a Tatra. The Fiat’s driver and three passengers died at the scene;
- Bolesławiec Police arrested, after a chase, a burglar who had broken into a basement on Łukasiewicza Street;
- An unknown individual fled from the “Jubiler” shop with a gold signet ring, taking advantage of the sales clerk’s momentary inattention.
