On 11 June, a telephone worth PLN 50,000 was stolen from the “Popularny” bar. The police identified the perpetrator, who turned out to be a known juvenile offender;
On 12 June, the driver of a KAMAZ in Nowogrodziec lost control of the vehicle due to careless driving, and it rolled down a roadside embankment. Two passengers suffered broken legs, and property damage amounted to approximately PLN 30 million;
On the same day, an unknown perpetrator smashed a window in a VW and took a bag containing documents and money. The loss was approximately PLN 40 million;
On the night of 12 June in Nowogrodziec–Kolonia, the driver of a SEAB, due to excessive speed and being dazzled by an oncoming vehicle, veered into a roadside ditch. The vehicle’s female passenger is in hospital with injuries;
On 13 June, a Russian driving an OPEL on the A-12 road collided head-on with a FORD driven by a driver from Germany. Damage amounted to approximately PLN 330 million. There were no casualties;
On the same day, the owner of a FIAT 125 detained an intoxicated man who had smashed a window in his car. The perpetrator turned out to be a Pole permanently residing in Germany;
On the same day, a FIAT 125 collided with a FORD at the intersection of Tamka and Grunwaldzka Streets. The FORD’s female passenger was injured. Damage amounted to PLN 60 million.
On 15 June, while the adult household members were absent, the underage daughter let unknown persons into the flat on Łukasiewicza Street, and they carried away various items worth PLN 25 million;
On 16 June, an unknown perpetrator forced open a window at the ZOZ clinic on Starzyńskiego Street and took needles, syringes and medical stethoscopes worth PLN 600,000;
On the night of 18 June, an unknown perpetrator stole telephone cable from the overhead line between Bolesławiec and Bożejowice. The loss was approximately PLN 370,000;
Recently, several car break-ins have occurred in Bolesławiec. The police appeal to you to exercise caution and not leave items in cars that could tempt potential thieves.
Quite often, the cost of repairing the resulting damage is greater than the value of the stolen property.
