The School Complex of Commerce and Services in Bolesławiec ceremoniously welcomed the approaching summer holidays while also saying goodbye to the third-year students of the Basic Vocational School and to the graduates who were parting from the school for only two months. But there is no need to worry, because we will meet again soon, in a somewhat larger group of friends who, just like us, decided to choose this school. The reason is probably already known to everyone: starting next school year, a Commercial Technical School with a commercial technician specialization has been established, offering greater choice in such a popular branch of the Polish economy. Until now, our school had the status of a vocational secondary school with a shop assistant–warehouse worker specialization; the Basic Vocational School also operated here, educating young people in the most popular occupations, such as hairdresser, hairdresser, baker, weaver, tinsmith, painter and shop assistant. The ceremonial farewells took place on June 23, when we experienced our final moments with the third-year students of the Basic Vocational School, and on June 25, when we said goodbye to the students continuing their education and to the teachers. After the farewell speech by the Principal, P.B. Kościelewska, the artistic part of the ceremony took place, prepared by class I ALZ under the direction of Prof. A. Brusiło.
The Principal did not forget to present awards, both for good academic performance and for attendance at classes. The following students were recognized: Beata Lipska, Joanna Juszkiewicz, Małgorzata Gałdy and Ewa Kopeć.
Edyta Wręczycka, Sławomir Tkacz and Elżbieta Kucia had 100% attendance. We hope that there will be many more such female and male students next year.
