At the beginning of June, the TMB board sent proposals for cooperation with “Głos Bolesławca” or for directly joining the editorial team of our local newspaper to many people known for their “good writing”, as well as to school communities. Forty-one people attended the meeting on 15 June, including teachers, artists, school students and representatives of various professions interested in cooperation. Among others, regular cooperation with “Głos Bolesławca” was offered by the illustrator Jan Bancewicz from Przejęsław, caricaturist and satirist Stanisław Graczyk, photographers D.T. Dzieduszkowie, Polish-language teachers from several secondary schools and others. All meeting participants expressed the opinion that the city should have its own newspaper and that it would be a shame to squander the achievements of “Głos Bolesławca” to date. The councillors present at the meeting proposed that the editorial team once again approach the Municipal Government with a request to purchase pages. This holiday issue of “Głos” already features the debut of young school journalists, as well as new drawings and photographs.
The editorial team has grown to more than 20 people, but it has not been closed. Anyone who wants to and is able to write, draw, publish their work or otherwise contribute can still become a member of the editorial team.
