On 16 February, Zdzisław M. reported to the District Police Headquarters, notifying officers of the theft of his SKODA FAVORIT car worth 75 million zlotys;
On 17 February, near the market square in Bolesławiec, Maciej D., known to the Police, assaulted a passer-by and was detained at the disposal of the District Prosecutor’s Office;
That same day, unknown perpetrators broke a window in a Mercedes, entered the vehicle and drove away the car, which belonged to a resident of Germany;
On 18 February, juvenile passengers on an MZK bus insulted and assaulted a ticket inspector. A police patrol detained the perpetrators;
On 19 February, unknown perpetrators broke into a FIAT 125 and took a radio worth 1.5 million zlotys;
On 21 February, police officers apprehended the perpetrators of a burglary. The theft took place on Dębowa Street, where bicycles and chickens were stolen from a storage shed;
That same day, unknown perpetrators forced open the door of the KRAM shop on Zgorzelecka Street and took goods worth 12 million zlotys;
On 24 February, a basement on Ślusarska Street was broken into, and a bicycle and preserved fruit and vegetables were taken. In the course of their duties, KRP officers detained the perpetrators and suspected receivers of stolen goods;
On 26 February, a basement on Kleeberga Street was also broken into. The burglars’ haul consisted of a bicycle and preserves worth a total of 3.5 million zlotys
On 1 March, a police patrol detained the perpetrator who had broken a window in a FORD car parked on Cicha Street;
On 2 March, KRP officers in Bolesławiec shut down a den producing so-called “Polish heroin” in an apartment on a new housing estate in Bolesławiec. The “producers” were detained at the same time;
On the night of 5 March, KRP officers in Bolesławiec caught Maciej D. red-handed committing a burglary. He was carrying out the crime at the post office on Asnyka Street. The detainee had stamps, MZK tickets, money and other items worth a total of approximately 1 million zlotys in his possession.
