The Bolesławiec Enthusiasts’ Society and the First-Degree State Music School wish to establish the Honorary Committee for the Celebrations of the 10th Anniversary of the First-Degree State Music School and the Promotion of the Second-Degree Music School.
There is no pomposity or megalomania behind this intention: quite simply, the music school has no choice but to gather decent and kindly disposed people around this cause and interest them in its problem. And the problem is a serious one, because the 10th anniversary of the First-Degree Music School is also the 10th anniversary of the ongoing construction of the Second-Degree Music School, for which time has completely stopped due to a lack of funds—and this at a point when so little was still needed to launch it successfully.
The inaugural meeting of the Honorary Committee, planned for 11 March, will be combined with a concert and a presentation of the school’s achievements, as well as a presentation of the needs essential for promoting the Second-Degree Music School, which are truly not very great.
The TMB Board, the PSM management and students, and “Głos Bolesławca” kindly appeal for a favorable response to the invitation to the meeting and concert on 11 March 1993 at 5:00 p.m. at the State Music School, especially to those of you who will receive an invitation.
