Mr Wacław W. (surname and address known to the editorial office) writes: "...I attended a meeting with representatives of a telecommunications company held at Osiedle Kwiatowe. The director of Telekomunikacja informed those gathered that there might be a chance to receive a telephone, provided that 10 million zlotys were paid (if there are 100 interested people, and if there are fewer, it will cost even more). I ask for this matter to be publicly explained in the pages of the widely read "Głos Bolesławca" in our town, because several of my colleagues and I are outraged by such an offer. After all, a fibre-optic line to Osiecznica is supposed to run through the housing estate, and the cost of laying this line is to be covered by the Voivodeship Office, which allocated 1.5 billion for this purpose. Why, then, should the estate's residents pay such high prices to connect to the network? Telekomunikacja would get its money back sooner or later anyway..." From the editorial officeThe editorial office of "Głos Bolesławca" sincerely thanks readers for the letters they send. We use the materials they contain.Another letter, from Mrs Czesława K., requires an explanation from the other side, which is why we cannot immediately take a position on it.We will certainly use some of the material sent by Mrs Wanda S. from Łaziska. In addition, we will make direct contact with her.We will forward the letter from the reader signing himself "MO" to the councillors of the Municipal Council, since we do not decide on these matters, although we admit that you are right. We ask that in future you provide your address and sign the letter with your surname, possibly adding a reservation that the surname and address are for the editorial office's information only.
