The group was established in 1663, but disbanded after several performances. In 1987, at the urging of the Municipal Culture Centre and thanks to the efforts of several women, including Olga Burdyna and Walenia Koudas, it was revived and has continued singing ever since. It has not yet achieved any major artistic successes, but it often performs at various municipal and regional events. It is one of the organizers of the cultural life of its village. The group initiates and organizes harvest festivals, Christmas wafer-sharing gatherings, Grandmother’s Day, Women’s Day, Senior Citizens’ Day and other events. The group consists of 15 people, including 13 women. The group is led and accompanied by Zygmunt Pokropywny.
