At the end of 1992, the residents of Brzeźnik will remember the date as the time when the water supply system for the village was commissioned. After construction lasting just 8 months, an investment essential to this area, which had been without water for years, was put into operation.
The ceremony marking the handover of the water supply system for the village was attended by the designers, contractors (Wojewódzki Zakład Usług Wodnych in Lubin), supervising inspectors and the future administrator of the facility, Zakład Wodociągów i Kanalizacji in Bolesławiec.
They wished the village residents, represented by a member of the Village Council, the longest possible trouble-free operation of the water supply system.
It should be added that, for PLN 3.4 billion, the contractor completed 7.8 km of network and 4.0 km of connections for 132 recipients. The investment was carried out entirely within the municipal budget.
