- On 22 October, a resident of Bolesławiec reported to the District Police Headquarters the theft of her FIAT 126 P car from Zwycięstwa Street. Police established that the theft had been committed by the reporting woman’s brother...
- On 23 October, unknown perpetrators broke into the Ruch warehouses and took cigarettes worth PLN 85 million;
- On the same day, two young men were attacked and beaten in the Market Square. Police findings showed that members of the local skinhead subculture were responsible for the assault and the theft of money and a leather jacket worth PLN 11 million. The perpetrators were identified and detained;
- On 24 October, unknown perpetrators broke the padlocks on the grilles securing the doors and entered the GS store in Lipiany, from which they took cigarettes, alcohol and other goods worth PLN 6 million;
- On 26 October, a fire broke out at a food-service pavilion on Garncarska Street. The fire was caused by the explosion of a Soviet-made television. Losses amounted to approximately PLN 50 million;
- On 2 November, an alcohol binge on Obrońców Helu Street ended tragically. After two bottles of denatured alcohol had been consumed, one of the revelers died;
- On 3 November at approximately 4:20 a.m., while patrolling the city, officers from the District Police Headquarters caught a man in the act of breaking into a store on Polna Street; he was placed in custody;
- On 4 November, an unknown perpetrator broke into an auto repair shop on Jeleniogórska Street, taking tools and car parts worth PLN 20 million;
- On 6 November, a tragic car accident occurred on Route 12, in which a German citizen driving an AUDI 100 died. It was established that, as a result of failing to exercise due caution, the car hit the railing of the bridge over the Bóbr River and then fell down an embankment;
- On 9 November, the Wholesale Knitwear Goods Store on Staszica Street was broken into. It was established that unknown perpetrators, after first damaging the alarm system and sawing through the grilles, entered the premises and took an IBM computer and boxes of textiles worth PLN 100 million;
- On 12 November at approximately 10:00 p.m., Edward K. was attacked from behind and struck on the head on Słowackiego Street. After rendering the victim unconscious, two unknown men took his wages amounting to PLN 4.5 million. The injured man had a blood alcohol level of 2.26 parts per mille;
- On 14 November, a person driving a FIAT 125 P on 22 Lipca Street struck a female cyclist, who died as a result of her injuries. The perpetrator fled the scene without providing assistance to the victim. As a result of immediate police action, the perpetrator was identified and detained at the disposal of the district prosecutor. The operation covered several hundred cars throughout the voivodeship.
- On 15 November, one of the patients at the Hospital for the Nervously and Mentally Ill committed suicide by hanging;
- On the same day, Tadeusz P. was the victim of a robbery on Chrobrego Street. The perpetrators severely beat the victim and took his leather jacket worth PLN 1.5 million. Police established the identities of the thugs.
