On 7 October, a serious accident occurred on Chrobrego Street: motorcyclist Piotr K. struck a female resident of Bolesławiec at a pedestrian crossing. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
- On the same day, the driver of a FIAT 125 failed to exercise due care and struck a pedestrian crossing the roadway on Karola Miarki Street. (Accidents of this type are occurring increasingly often and are caused by both drivers and pedestrians);
- Also on 7 October, a neighbourly dispute broke out in a stairwell on Garncarska Street. During the incident, one of the participants was beaten so severely that he is in hospital;
- On 8 October, the emergency service dispatcher notified the KRP in Bolesławiec of the suicide, by hanging, of a resident of Kraśnik Dolny;
- Also on 8 October, a brazen theft was committed in the market square, near the ALF store, to the detriment of Mr Władysław F. The perpetrator was apprehended;
- On the same day, the EDEN store in the market square was also burgled. After breaking the glass in the entrance door, the perpetrator entered the store and took chemical products. The perpetrator was apprehended following a chase;
- On 10 October, unknown perpetrators, after first breaking a window in the building of the Foundry and Mechanical Cooperative on Polna Street, entered the Cooperative’s office premises, from which they took 10 million zlotys after breaking into a safe;
- On the same day, the emergency service dispatcher reported the suicide of a 27-year-old city resident;
- On 12 October, the criminal police arrested drug addicts in the act while they were producing drugs known as “Polish heroin.” The production took place in one of the drug addicts’ dens in Bolesławiec;
