Although it does not have town rights and, for now, has not been incorporated into Bolesławiec, at the residents’ request, the Municipal Council adopted names for the streets in Kruszyn.
Ultimately, after considering a variety of interesting proposals, two of the 26 streets were named Główna and Świętojańska, while the remaining 24 bear botanical names of trees and shrubs.
At first, there will certainly be some difficulty becoming familiar with the new names, but later it will be pleasant to hear the names of beautiful trees mentioned frequently, especially during the seasons when the real ones are not blooming.
