The replacement of the sewer network on Kilińskiego Street in Bolesławiec has been completed. Road reconstruction is now underway. The work includes renovating the road surface and sidewalks. New curbs and edging will be installed. The project contractor is a company from Jelenia Góra. More than PLN 427,000 has been allocated for this purpose from the city budget.

The damaged concrete-slab sidewalks, curbs and edging on Drzymały Street will be replaced with new ones. Workers will lay 740 m² of concrete paving blocks—gray and colored. New trees will be planted in place of the old ones. On Opitza Street, the curbs and edging will also be replaced. The plan also includes laying 83 m² of paving blocks. The renovation will cost more than PLN 100,000. The contractor is a company from Bolesławiec.

The reconstruction of street lighting on Łasicka, Okrzei and Marcinkowskiego streets in Bolesławiec has also begun. The city authorities are carrying it out jointly with Koncern Energetyczny EnergiaPro. Nearly PLN 110,000 has been allocated from the municipal budget for this task. The work is scheduled for completion by July 8, 2008.

In May, the reconstruction of Małachowskiego and Konstytucji 3 Maja streets in Bolesławiec was completed. The work was carried out by a company from Świdnica. New curbs and edging were installed along both streets. In addition, 34 parking spaces were built in the area administered by the “Bolesławianka” Housing Cooperative (including 11 on Konstytucji 3 Maja Street and 23 on Małachowskiego Street). The investment cost more than PLN 928,000, including a contribution of more than PLN 100,000 from “Bolesławianka”.
