The municipal festival was held on June 7 at the sports field in Kruszyn. Football matches were played from the late morning hours.
The official part of the festival was opened by a speech delivered by Zofia Łakomy, president of the Municipal-District Board of the Polish Peasant Party in Bołesławiec. Farmers from all the villages in the municipality attended the festival. There was something for everyone in the programme. Performances by folk ensembles from Kruszyn and Ocice alternated with recitations, theatrical presentations and songs performed by children from the Primary School in Kruszyn.
For fans of stronger music, the youth band "Falstart" from Żeliszów performed. The girls gave the most charming performance: Marta Kimera as Madonna, and Ania Buszta and Kasia Ślimak as Roxsett in the "Mini Hit Parade".
In addition to cheering on the footballers, sports enthusiasts could demonstrate their accuracy by throwing darts and playing ringo, walk on stilts or run in a sack race. The best participants were rewarded with small gifts. An additional attraction was an air-rifle target-shooting competition. With favourable weather and disco rhythms, festival-goers enjoyed themselves almost until dawn.
